PNG LNG – MODULAR ACCOMMODATION VILLAGE
Dryka were involved in the design & documentation of a large accommodation village in PNG for an international LNG project. Sea containers were custom built in China for shipping transport to site, and were to be stacked into a 3-storey apartment block. Dryka led the design of the containers in accordance with American steel design standards and project specifications, using SPACEGASS analysis. All modules were analysed for individual loadings for wind, shipping, lifting and road transport loads, while also considering the extreme seismic activities at site.
