New multi-level extensions to the Patricia Kailis Centre for the Rocky Bay Foundation in partnership with Bollig Design Group.

Extensive storage and workshop areas including a suspended reinforced concrete mezzanine floor. Structural items were provided in the refurbishment of the existing structure including a lightweight steel mezzanine floor and a number of steel frameworks for lifting devices.

Mixed construction involving an external portal frame structure of concrete precast panels, and steel columns, girts and sheeting and steel roof. Internal walls were a mixture of steel stud and reinforced concrete block to support a reinforced concrete suspended slab. Piling was provided to ensure the adequacy of foundations up against the boundary of existing structures on two edges.
